I’m Robert Williams, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Life Coach specializing in Trauma Recovery, Individual Relationship Counseling, Anxiety, Depression, and Addiction. I help individuals navigate their emotional struggles with compassionate, evidence-based therapy.

I believe in the inherent  worth, value and dignity of every person. I started my practice because finding meaning in this life is often deeply difficult and all of us need help from time to time to stay connected to that meaning.

Over the years, I’ve supported clients in managing grief, profound loss, addictive struggles, trouble at work, communication and other issues with romantic partners.  providing them with specific tools, techniques, and management strategies.

Many of my clients have moved from frustration, helplessness, feeling unseen or unheard - to a sense of control and choice permeating their lives. With 18 years of experience and a multitude of degrees, certificates, and relevant trainings I’ve helped people come home to themselves and begin living the life they want to.

One important lesson I’ve learned is that therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, so I adapt my approach to meet your unique needs.

About Aspen Grove Therapy

Professional Counseling

Aspen Grove Therapy is dedicated to providing professional counseling services for individuals seeking support and guidance. We specialize in a wide range of therapeutic areas, offering personalized treatment plans to address each client's unique needs and goals.

After many years working in Mental health at numerous facilities, and practices. Robert decided it was time to create Aspen Grove Therapy. Aspen Grove therapy attempts to recognize that a deep and abiding part of the human experience is in our connections with others. When  those connections become frayed, so too can our lives. When our supports become fractured, our very selves begin to crack.

Aspen Grove Therapy attempts to address issues with a dual focus on recognizing and engaging with both our physiological responses(our body) and our thought content (self talk, ideas, perception of self) Working within these two areas we can begin to create connection and control between the two. Allowing increased awareness of one's actual concerns as well as increased ability to control one's own thoughts and experience.
